MSC SCONA is an annual collegiate conference that brings together delegates from all over the nation. The theme is "Hanging in the Balance: American Leadership in Global Crises". Speakers are Gen. (R) Tod. D Wolters, USAF, former Supreme Allied Commander of Europe/NATO, LtGen Dimitri Henry '88, USMC, Director of Intelligence for the Joint Staff (J2), Major General Michelle McGuinness of the Australian Army, Deputy Director for Commonwealth Integration for the DIA, and AMB John T. Hennessey-Niland, former Ambassador to Palau and POLAD. Our conference will feature several roundtables on the various types of American responses to the Great Powers conflict, the refugee crisis, energy independence, and other pressing topics. Delegates participate in small group "roundtables" led by a subject matter expert "facilitator" and work together to create a policy paper. The conference culminates in the judging of these policy papers and awards are given for Best Policy Paper and Best Policy Presentation.
