Description:

Students will design a high-rise in Downtown Los Angeles for their 406-design studio with Instructor Benjamin Ennemoser. This field trip allows the students to do a site visit and collect essential data for their project. That data will be used in AI-aided design processes using Machine Learning. Additionally, we will tour modern architecture by John Lautner and visit award-winning firms such as Morphosis, NMDA, and Gensler. We will visit robotics and AI research labs at UCLA's IDEAS campus and graduate and post-graduate programs at UCLA, USC, and Sci-Arc.
