Description:

I currently serve as Vice President of community relations for the Texas A&M chapter of Pi Beta Phi. I will be attending a conference with the intent of developing more effective leaders of high quality women within Pi Beta Phi. The objectives statements of said conference are: Identify and develop best community relations practices that will actively and effectively contribute to an inclusive member experience; Prepare to implement the knowledge and skills gained in order to create an engaging community relations strategy tailored to their chapter; Identify communities with which the chapter interacts and explore how chapters and members can and should relate to them; Envision a successful brand strategy for the chapter's audiences and communities; Identify meaningful service and philanthropic efforts, utilize best practices to maximize the chapter's positive impact on society.
