We will be hosting an Analytics Workshop in Houston on November 11, 2021. We will begin around 8:30 am and end around 4:00 pm. This session will be facilitated by Dr. James Abbey, a professor at the Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. This course will include practical applications with the participation of the enrollees. We will explore the power of visual analytics via two of the top visual analytics engines: Tableau and Power BI. The session requires neither advanced technical knowledge nor significant statistical skills. A certificate of attendance for continuing education hours will be offered from the Information & Operations Management Department at the Mays Business School at Texas AM University.

This session explores the growing influence Data Analytics in nearly every facet of business. Specifically, the session covers numerous examples, ranging from human resource management to forecasting demand to organizing a supply chain, of how data analytics continues to shape and transform the operations and strategies of modern firms. This session focuses on the fundamentals of managing with analytics through a set of visual analytics exercises and tools. The session requires neither advanced technical knowledge nor significant statistical skills.
