- Research cruise for OCNG491 students participating in the Dept. of Oceanography's REU program to be trained on oceanographic sampling methods, oxygen measurements, acrobat deployment and operation of the CTD. National Science Foundation sponsored activity on the R/V Pelican, a UNOLS vessel. Participation is limited to the 10 REU students and department staff and technicians.
