Description:

Field trip to attend the regional meeting of the Society of Sensory Professionals plus tour Pepsi Co, Samulson and Robertson distillary, and Farmer Brothers sensory facilities. This is a sensory class and each of these businesses use sensory as a component of their product quality decisions. I have determined that exposing students to sensory professionals and experiences were sensory is used in the business model is an impactful experience that brings the concepts of the semester to a close much more effectively than a final exam.
