Description:

28 first-year Regents' scholars who are apart of the Regents' Ambassador Program at Mays Business School will attend the professional development trip to New York, New York from Thursday, March 6 to Tuesday, March 11 as part of the required Regents' scholarship learning community course, CLBA 001. 4 second-year Regents' scholars who are mentors to the first-years will also attend the trip, but are not enrolled in CLBA 001. However, they are participating due to their requirement of completing a second-year High Impact Program (through their role as an ambassador) for the Regents' Scholarship. Students will attend site visits to businesses like Amazon, EY, and Link Logistics, participate in cultural experiences, develop professional skills, network with current and former students, and gain confidence to pursue future career opportunities. The professional development trip is optional.
