Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Internship

Description:

Students will conduct internships at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in either agricultural education or agricultural communications. Students have the opportunity to network with leaders of the great Houston region and agriculture through hands-on experiences writing press releases, creating social media and digital content, serving as public representatives of agriculture in agricultural education exhibits, and/or birthing livestock in the Birthing Center. This internship is available for, but not limited to, students enrolled in ALEC 399.
