Description:

The U-Challenge provides students the unique opportunity to gain access to the data about the residence halls here at Texas A&M University. Students use this information, and draw upon the expertise of the staff from Utilities and Energy Services and Residence Life, to learn about the current proficiency of the buildings and propose ways to increase the buildings' efficiency to a panel of staff, faculty, and administration. The event will be hosted during a time when classes may be in
session (4-7 pm) so we would appreciate this being approved as a sponsored event on the calendar so professors can legitimize their absence from class. This final round, teams of students will be presenting their findings and have the chance to win up to $100 each while networking with our executive and director level panel of judges. I will be speaking with students and professors about their absence individually but having it on the calendar helps.
