Description:
The Corps of Cadets Cyber Operations Special Unit is a group of cadets who are pursuing cybersecurity-related careers in both the public and private sectors. They along with students from the Texas A&M Cyber Leader Development Program (CLDP) will compete in the NSA Cybersecurity Exercise (NCX) on April 8-10, 2024. NSA partners closely with five U.S. Service Academies and the six Senior Military Colleges to cultivate a pipeline of top cybersecurity talent. NCX provides an integrated program that advances cybersecurity through education and training to develop and test cybersecurity skills, teamwork, planning, communication, and decision-making. NCX also creates a collaborative environment where military and civilian participants partner to sharpen their cybersecurity skills, while contributing valuable insights for future innovations. During NCX 2024, participants will compete in Active Attack, Malware, Cyber Policy, Software Development, and a Cyber Combat Exercise to develop and showcase their skills. NCX supports the Corps of Cadets mission to develop well-educated leaders of character prepare for the global leadership challenges of the future and aligns with the Corps' career readiness efforts.
