Purpose:
Company H-1 is dedicated to the aggressive development of leaders, disciplined pursuit of academic success, and seeks a high level of physical fitness. Not only do we pursue physical fitness, strength, stamina, durability, endurance, and mental toughness, we believe that hard physical training builds character, self-confidence, and spiritual strength. These qualities set H-1 cadets apart, motivate us to embody excellence and professionalism, and equip us to lead in any field.

Company H-1 has won the Bloody Cross for 13 years in a row and the Obstacle Course Competition for 9 years in a row. In 2012 H-1 also won the Cadet Challenge and was designated the Professor of Naval Science Outstanding Unit Award. H-1 is also known for exporting leadership. In the last 4 years H-1 has produced 2 Corps Commanders, 1 Major Unit Commander, 2 Commanders of other outfits, 1 Sergeant Major, 1 First Sergeant of another outfit, and 2 LCPOs of Texas A&M Seal Platoon.
