Purpose:
SCEC is a student chapter of an international organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities, students with disabilities, and/or gifted students. Our mission is to educate individuals about special education and the role that it plays in the education system. Meetings will be held with guest speakers that directly relate to the special education field as they effect both general and special education teachers. SCEC also provides students with volunteer opportunities on campus and in the community.
