Purpose:
SCEC is a student chapter of an international organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities, students with disabilities, and/or gifted students. To educate individuals about special education and the role that it plays in the education system. Meetings will be held with guest speakers that directly relate to the special education field as they effect both general and special education teachers. SCEC also strongly encourages all members to volunteer in local schools.
