Purpose:
The Nautical Archaeology Student Association (NASA) will serve as an open forum for interested undergraduate and graduate students to discuss matters related to the study of nautical archaeology, technology, skill sets, and networking. The NASA will provide opportunities for students to share and cultivate ideas for improving the student experience while in the Nautical Archaeology Program.

NASA emphasizes the importance of cultivating professional skills relevant to careers in nautical archaeology including: academic writing, CV construction, and grant writing. NASA draws on the experience and resourcefulness of its members to improve the skills and opportunities for all students in the Nautical Archaeology Program.
