Purpose:
The purpose of the Sounding Rocketry Team is to encourage an environment of academic application to technical projects. More specifically, the team will learn about different components of high-powered rockets and then participate in designing, testing, and building one in order to compete in the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition. For now, the basic category requirements are to launch a 10-lb payload precisely 10,000 ft above ground level.
