About This Organization

Purpose:
The mission of The Poetry Club of Texas A&M is to provide a common meeting place for the admirers of the fine beauty of poetry to meet, share their favorite pieces of poetry, read works of their own, and experience different people's opinions.This club believes that poetry is an artistic medium which brings people together and delivers a certain kind of happiness to one's heart in its' idiosyncratic way. This club allows people to escape from their everyday, grounded lives and soar in an environment in which the eloquence of poetry is truly appreciated.
