Section I. Purpose (TASC Constitution)
The purpose of this organization is to educate and inform individuals of the intricate and diverse history and culture of swing, to integrate the lasting traditions with the interests of TAMU students, to promote East Coast, Charleston, Lindy Hop and all forms of swing that originated in these dances (e.g., West Coast Swing, Carolina Shag, BalSwing, Blues), and to promote the music that accompanies these various forms of swing dance.
