About This Organization

Abbreviation(s):
AL
Purpose:
Aggie Libertarians (AL) exists to promote the political philosophy of libertarianism at Texas A&M University. AL is Texas A&M's chapter of the national organization Young Americans for Liberty (YAL), the largest pro-liberty presence on college campuses. AL meets weekly to discuss various topics and hosts social and activism events throughout the academic year. The libertarian message is to uphold free markets and property rights and to reduce government influence, but we welcome individuals from across the political spectrum.
