Purpose:

The mission of University Blood Initiative is to establish a collaborative network of strong, local, and independent blood centers constantly at the cutting edge of society, systems, science, and social and public policy with the purpose of achieving a sustainable blood supply for the good of all. The UBI chapter at TAMU will especially focus on engaging college youth as active blood donors in their community, ultimately working to increase and diversify blood supply.
