Falun Dafa Practitioner Association

About This Organization

Abbreviation(s):
FDPA
Purpose:
The Falun Dafa Practitioner Association provides opportunities to students, faculty, and staff members at Texas A&M University to learn and practice Falun Dafa, a spiritual practice consisting of two main components: self-improvement through the study of teachings, and gentle exercises and meditation. The organization also raises awareness of the ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China.

The Falun Dafa Practitioner Association shares the principle of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance with students, faculty, staff, and local community members. Through on-campus involvements and activities, the Falun Dafa Practitioner Association aims to provide a supportive environment for Falun Dafa practitioners at Texas A&M University to study the teachings of Falun Dafa and practice the exercises together, to share their practice experiences with each other, and to provide a collaborative environment to help students, faculty, staff, and local community members learn Falun Dafa.
