Aggies on Wall Street trip to New York

Description:

The Aggies on Wall Street program is now conducting part of its New York field trip during the first week of class in January. Previously, the field trip occurred in the middle of February, which required students to be placed in special sections with low enrollment during the spring semester. By implementing this change, the department accomplishes three important goals: (1) students will now be placed into regular sections, improving efficiency and reducing costs; (2) the timing of the trip is better aligned with the recruiting schedule for major investment banks, which begins in January, and (3) the Aggies on Wall Street Program can also accept non-Mays students (particularly from STEM disciplines) on a limited basis. This change requires that students be excused from classes during the first week of class of the spring semester. These students are all high-capacity, high-achieving students, and we expect they will be able to quickly catch up with the course materials upon their return. Thank you for your consideration.
