Description:
The Academy of Undergraduate Researchers Across Texas (AURA TX) is a networking and professional development program run by the LAUNCH: Undergraduate Research office that engages exceptional undergraduate researchers at the two flagship universities in Texas (Texas A&M and UT). AURA TX student members publicize the importance of undergraduate research and the impact it has on students and their future careers, and represent undergraduate research at Texas A&M as they interact with students from TAMU and UT, faculty, administrators, and state officials.
On October 23, AURA TX student members will travel to The University of Texas at Austin to exchange research with other members of AURA TX, attend a professional seminar on Visualizing Your Research Story, and tour a research facility on the UT campus.
AURA TX is coordinated by Dr. Sarah M. Misemer, Assoc. Director for Undergraduate Research, smisemer@tamu.edu, and Annabelle G. Aymond, Program Coordinator for Undergraduate Research, annabelle.aymond@tamu.edu. We may also be reached through our shared inbox, ugr@tamu.edu.
