CMIS Case Competition (ISTM 320 and ISTM 410)

Description:

Students enrolled in ISTM 320 and ISTM 410 for Fall 2018 semester participate in the CMIS case competition as part of the course requirements.

The first round of competition occurs on Thursday, Nov 8 between noon and 5:00 p.m. Individual competition teams have assigned 30 minute time windows for their team presentation; thus, the time commitment for individual students varies. All students attend a Thursday evening event to receive feedback on their presentations and hear the announcement of finalist teams.

The final round of competition occurs on Friday, Nov 9 between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The top teams from Thursday's presentations will be invited to present on Friday. Individual competition teams have assigned 30 minute time windows for their team presentation; thus, the time commitment for individual students varies. All students on the finalist teams attend a Friday lunch event to receive feedback on their presentations and hear the announcement of the competition winners.

The Center for the Management of Information Systems will provide a letter documenting the assigned presentation time for students if requested.
