Description:

On February 21st, four Financial Planning students will travel first to Miami and then to CoCo Cay, St. Thomas, and San Juan to participate in the 14th annual Financial ConNEXTion Career Exploration Conference & Competition. The students will be returning the evening of March 1st. This is an opportunity for our students to represent Texas A&M University and the Financial Planning Program while networking with and learning from dozens of financial services professionals. The students will also be competing against one another in multiple competitions which will award scholarships to the winners. The students participating in this trip are actively involved in the Financial Planning Program and this opportunity will be beneficial to their leadership development and preparation from their professional career. Each of the four student participants submitted lengthy career research papers in the fall and and have received travel scholarships to help pay for all or part of the trip.
