Beta Theta Pi - South Central Keystone Conference

Date Range:
February 15, 2019 to February 17, 2019
Event Type:
Sponsored
Location:
Tulsa, Oklahoma
Description:
Keystone is a high quality, regional education experience focusing on chapter officer development, principled
leadership and volunteer training. In 2004, all chapter presidents and volunteers overwhelmingly identified the need
for this type of program. Although Beta has other popular values-based leadership opportunities, Keystone is the
only program that teaches operational concepts to chapter officers and advisors.
Keystone is three days of executive committee and officer development. Simply
put, Keystone prepares you to fan the flame of principled leadership across
Beta's Broad Domain. All Betas and Friends of Beta at this event are ready
and willing to create the best possible environment for learning. Our commitment
to you is that after graduating from Keystone, executive officers and advisors
will be able to:
• define the responsibilities for their respective positions.
• discuss officer and advisor best practices critical to the success
of a chapter of Beta Theta Pi.
• describe the mission and vision of Beta Theta Pi as a General Fraternity.
• practice leadership skills which build credible officers, executive committees and advisory
teams of Beta Theta Pi.
• practice leadership-based decision making that promotes ongoing individual and chapter
self-governance and accountability.
• devise and implement action plans aimed at bringing the principles and obligations of
Beta Theta Pi to life in their chapters, in their fraternity/sorority communities and in themselves.
