Description:
Students will be representing Texas A&M University and the Texas A&M Agronomy Society at the Students of Agronomy, Soils, and Environmental Sciences (SASES) national meetings in Baltimore, MD from Friday, November 2 through Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Please allow students to make-up any course work they may miss during the absence. At the SASES meetings, the students will have the opportunity to network with other students, researchers, and industry professionals, from across the U.S, representing various agricultural sectors; to present their undergraduate research; and to participate in agronomy-related contests (e.g., club poster presentation and quiz bowl) and professional development activities (e.g., leadership training). In addition, this conference is held in conjunction with the American Society of Agronomy and Crop Science Society of America International Annual Meetings, which enables students to attend presentations detailing the latest discoveries in agricultural and environmental research and also explore opportunities for employment and graduate school.
