Students for Sensible Drug Policy

About This Organization

Abbreviation(s):
SSDP
Purpose:
The mission of Students for Sensible Drug Policy at Texas A&M is to reform detrimental drug policies here on campus, as well as through legislation for the state. We are currently campaigning to decriminalize cannabis in College Station. We are working reform policies so that they are more supportive and educational rather than punitive and harmful. Through our "Just Say Know" campaign, we deliver fact based evidence through peer-to-peer discussions that empower the individuals to make the best decisions. We also encourage active engagement in the legislative process, so we may help make the changes we would all like to see.
