Purpose:
The Texas A&M Medievalist Society aims to provide a place for people of all majors and education levels to learn more about medieval studies, and it will provide a place for people with an interest in medieval studies to socialize.This organization will allow people to learn more about medieval studies without the pressure of a classroom. We intend to have guest speakers as well as social meetings. The Medievalist Society will also make medieval studies accessible to Texas A&M students who do not have the ability to take current medieval classes, and it will bolster the knowledge acquired by students who have already taken those classes.
