About This Organization

Abbreviation(s):
ANSC Ambassadors
Purpose:
The mission of Animal Science Ambassadors is to serve as representatives for the Department of Animal Science. We desire to assist the department in recruiting exceptional prospective students as well as serve as a resource for incoming students. This organizations goal is to attend events like Aggieland Saturday, different Texas livestock shows, State FFA Convention, and different high schools around the state to help our department get talented judging kids and quality students to A&M. We plan to participate in calling parties, where we phone accepted seniors congratulating them on their acceptance, giving prospective new student tours within the department, and planning faculty socials around each holiday. The main goal is to get excellent students to the Department of Animal Science and promote a further relationship between faculty and the Ambassadors that represent the Animal Science student population.
