Public Profile

About This Organization

oSTEM (Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is a national society dedicated to educating and fostering leadership for LGBTQ+ communities in STEM fields. The main goals of an oSTEM Chapter at Texas A&M would be to: identify, address, and advocate for the needs of LGBTQ+ students in STEM fields and to educate, assist, and engage LGBTQ+ students in STEM fields. Those goals will be fulfilled by fostering connections between LGBTQ+ students and/or potential employers, faculty and staff at Texas A&M, and other students, by collaborating with other student organizations and departments at Texas A&M, and by developing engaging programming that brings all of these groups together.
