Aggie Pediatric Nursing Association

About This Organization

APNA
Purpose:
The mission of the Aggie Pediatric Nursing Association is to provide aspiring future pediatric nurses additional opportunities to increase their knowledge of the pediatrics field in the nursing profession, add to their experiences with children in the community and healthcare settings, and to create a community of future pediatric nurses within the School of Nursing.
We do this by having monthly meetings with guest speakers from the field of Pediatrics, providing opportunities for service work and pediatric patient contact, researching and providing information on what you can do now to jump start your career in pediatrics, and advice from senior pediatric nurses on how to secure a job in pediatrics.
