Purpose:
The purpose of P.L.A.Y. is to serve as a liaison between Texas A&M School of Law and the Tarrant, Dallas and Denton County Community. P.L.A.Y. aims to expose youth, specifically those in ethnic groups that are underrepresented in the legal community, to opportunities available in the legal profession. P.L.A.Y. develops and implements programs that seek to educate young people on the tools and resources necessary to apply to law school and become successful legal advocate s. P.L.A.Y. also sponsors a variety of programs using law-related education to provide practical information and problem-solving opportunities that assist students in developing the knowledge and skills necessary for survival in our law-saturated society.
