Ags for Orphans

Public Profile

About This Organization

Abbreviation(s):
AFO
Purpose:
Ags for Orphans is a movement of current and former students actively choosing to be part of the solution to our world's orphan crisis. With over 153 million orphans, and less than 1% of those children adopted each year, Aggies are deciding to help fill the gap by providing clean water, proper food, basic healthcare, access to education, job skills training and a Christ-centered home environment. This is accomplished through local and international mission trips to orphanages, sponsorship and volunteering at local fundraising events, financial giving, and strategic partnerships with other orphan care organizations. AFO gives current and former students the opportunity to share hope by opening the arms of the Aggie Family to children that don't have one, sacrifice on their behalf, and provide for their most basic needs.
