- The mission of the IADC-TAMU Student Chapter is to catalyze engagement between TAMU students, faculty, and the drilling industry. Our purpose is to provide an opportunity to strategically engage students with the drilling industry and IADC, promote cross-disciplinary interaction by engaging students across a wide range of disciplines with a focus on the drilling industry, facilitate networking between organization members and the drilling industry, and expose students to real-world problems in the drilling industry and provide technical workshops to stimulate professional development.
